AGENCY FOR HEALTHCARE RESEARCH AND QUALITY (AHRQ) RESOURCES

AHRQ, a federal agency, has created a report containing emergency preparedness models that provide guidance on personal protective equipment, decontamination, isolation/quarantine, and laboratory capacity. To download this report, follow the link below:

AHRQ has also released an updated version of the Bioterrorism and Epidemic Outbreak Response Model, which is a computer model that predicts the number and type of staff needed to respond to a major disease outbreak or bioterrorism attack on a given population.
