UpToDate Group Purchasing Offer (GPO)
CHAMPS provides a group purchasing offer (GPO) for UpToDate to CHAMPS Organizational Members. A clinical decision support tool that helps clinicians provide quality patient care, UpToDate is an evidence-based, peer-reviewed information resource that answers clinical questions quickly and easily on desktop/laptop computers or most mobile devices.

UPTODATE DESCRIPTION
UpToDate faculty includes over 4,400 physicians, peer reviewers, and editors that write topic reviews that include literature syntheses, latest evidence, and specific recommendations. UpToDate also offers CME to their subscribers who perform clinical research/searches. CME is easy to obtain by conducting a search on a topic and reviewing the literature provided. UpToDate can also be used as a point of care tool for referencing diseases, treatments, drugs, visual imaging and other patient care information. UPTODATE GPO DISCOUNT
The 2012 CHAMPS UpToDate GPO allows new subscribers to purchase individual subscriptions at $80 off the retail price for an initial one-year subscription. It also allows subscribers to renew in 2013 for $30 off the retail price, for a total savings of $110 per subscription over the two-year period of 2012 and 2013.
Under the 2012 CHAMPS UpToDate GPO, CHAMPS member health centers may purchase any number of subscriptions for $419 each, plus a on-time $15 processing fee ($80 off the retail price of $499 for new subscriptions). After the 12-month subscription period ends in 2013, health centers may renew subscriptions purchased in 2012 for $419, with no processing fee ($30 off the retail renewal price of $449). CHAMPS organizational members who wish to purchase an UpToDate subscription(s) under the CHAMPS GPO must complete the 2012 CHAMPS UpToDate GPO Order Form and return it to Shannon@CHAMPSonline.org. Orders may be place anytime from April 10 through November 1, 2012. All subscriptions must be purchased and activated by December 1, 2012.
