The Evidence Based Clinical Guidelines compiled on this site have been reviewed and approved by Region VIII clinicians, including the Mountain/Plains Clinical Network (MPCN, the Region VIII clinical network) Steering Committee and the Colorado Clinical Advisory Network (CCAN, the Colorado health center Medical Directors' network).
Many of these guidelines were provided by the Colorado Clinical Guidelines Collaborative (CCGC), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare practices in Colorado. CCGC relies on the best available medical research to develop concise, accurate guidelines and educational materials. Other guidelines were provided by Kaiser Permanente's Colorado Regional Prevention Committee, which rigorously reviews current evidence to create sound clinical guidelines. In a continued partnership, CCGC and Kaiser Permanente have offered to provide MPCN with new and updated clinical guidelines as they are reviewed and modified.
Please click HERE to access these Evidence Based Clinical Guidelines.
The Preventive Medicine Procedures Posters are adapted from the Kaiser Preventive Guidelines that contain the recommended preventive procedures at specific ages from childhood to adult.
